Be Filled with the Anointing Fire of God and the Holy Spirit

Bro Thomas Samuel
19-11-2017

Jesus is coming back and the church has to be ready.

Matthew 28:19New King James Version (NKJV)
19 Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Mark 16:17-18New King James Version (NKJV)
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[a] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

1) Have a passion for souls.

2) Carry the anointing.

Matthew 3:11-12New King James Version (NKJV)
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.[a] 12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

John talked about the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire.

Fire of His love, His mercy;
Fire of His judgment.

Acts 2:2-4New King James Version (NKJV)
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Peter spoke and 3,000 were added into the kingdom. Later, 5,000 were added.

Carry the fire of God and be the fire!

The book of Revelation warns of the consequence of a lukewarm Christian.

Exodus 3:2-4New King James Version (NKJV)
2 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. 3 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”

4 So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”

And he said, “Here I am.”

Moses was a person who was impulsive. When he saw a wrong being done against a Jew, he killed the Egyptian.

He fled when he knew the people knew he had killed somebody. He fled to the backside of the desert--the most remote part.

Yet God in His love, chose Moses.

The bush was burning yet it was not consumed.

It transformed him from a person who was full of excuses and perhaps couldn't speak well to become a passionate and revered leader of 1-2 million people for 40 years.

The Bible also says he was chosen to do a task and he asked, "Who am I to speak to the pharoah?" God chose many times people who are useless in our sight but precious in God's sight.

God changed Moses with the burning bush--fire--encounter.

He was transformed from a person who was hiding from the Egyptian authority to challenge the highest authority.

Moses was also transformed from a person who feared people to a person who was feared. (Exodus 33:9-10; 34:30)

Exodus 33:9-10New King James Version (NKJV)
9 And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. 10 All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped, each man in his tent door.

Exodus 34:10New King James Version (NKJV)
The Covenant Renewed
10 And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.

Real-life examples:

-Smith Wigglesworth

We have to carry the power and glory of God.

He made us in His likeness.

He was us to have the same DNA that He has.

1 John 4:17New King James Version (NKJV)
The Consummation of Love
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

Another biblical example:
Elijah:

1 Kings 18:24New King James Version (NKJV)
24 Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.”

So all the people answered and said, “It is well spoken.”

1 Kings 18:39New King James Version (NKJV)
39 Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”

Moses: God is a consuming fire.

Elijah: A God who answers by fire, He is God.

Jeremiah:

Jeremiah 20:9New King James Version (NKJV)
9 Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him,
Nor speak anymore in His name.”
But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.

Ezekial:

Visions of fire, fire, fire. God had Ezekiel eat a scroll (Ezekiel 3).

Our God is a God of fire.

For us to be ready, our body must be ready to take the holiness, righteousness and awesomeness of God.

All of us have a written destiny and nobody can abort it unless we give the enemy the permission.

Apostle Paul:

He had that one fire encounter with God on the road to Damascus. (Acts 9:17-18) He was transformed from a theologian to one who intimately knew God.

Today, God is looking for His children to know Him, not about Him.

Apostle Paul was in prison and he wrote the Epistles.

He was brought to King Agrippa and he forgot that he was a prisoner and he preached to the king.

Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is relationship with Almighy God.

John Wesley:

"Light yourself on fire with passion and people will come from miles to watch you burn." God set him on fire and the people came to see him burn. He preached more than 40,000 sermons. He also travelled more than 250,000 miles (equivalent to going around the world along the Equator 12 times) mainly on horseback. He personally wrote 5,000 brochures and tracts. He preached up to a few days before his death. He lived up to 88 years old.

His brother, Charles, wrote thousands of hymns.

Jonathan Edwards:

15 minutes into one of his sermons, people started crying, chairs started shaking, people literally saw fire like fire from hell.

You would have felt the fire of God's presence, goodness, and love.

Lindell Cooley:

Worship is to draw in the presence of God like in the book of Revelation.

Nathan Morris:

He grew up in the midst of church. Yet he walked away from God. The Pensacola Revival changes him.

1 Corinthians 3:13New King James Version (NKJV)
13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

What is our conduct in church? What is our conduct in our workplace?

Count Nikolaus  Zinzendorf:

"My passion is Him and Him alone."

Mark 9:49New King James Version (NKJV)
Tasteless Salt Is Worthless
49 “For everyone will be seasoned with fire,[a] and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.

The church needs burning Christians--ignited with passion for God.

Things That Make Your Prayers To Be Answered Quickly

Pr Julius Suubi
12-11-2017 (1st service)

2 Kings 4:29-35 New King James Version (NKJV)

29 Then he said to Gehazi, “Get yourself ready, and take my staff in your hand, and be on your way. If you meet anyone, do not greet him; and if anyone greets you, do not answer him; but lay my staff on the face of the child.”

30 And the mother of the child said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose and followed her. 31 Now Gehazi went on ahead of them, and laid the staff on the face of the child; but there was neither voice nor hearing. Therefore he went back to meet him, and told him, saying, “The child has not awakened.”

32 When Elisha came into the house, there was the child, lying dead on his bed. 33 He went in therefore, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the Lord. 34 And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm. 35 He returned and walked back and forth in the house, and again went up and stretched himself out on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

Why are prayers not answered?

Because we are not fulfilling the divine requirements.

God answers prayers.

But why are prayers taking so long to be answered?

Elisha prayed for the woman. In one year, she has a child. One day the child fell sick. The sickness progressed and he died. The woman took him to where the prophet used to sleep.

The woman told her husband that "It is well."

Develop a relationship with God before battles come.

John 15:7

There needs a continuous relationship with God before we see a continuous flow of answered prayers.

Elisha gave a stick to be taken to the child.

1) Certain prayers cannot work for certain situations.

The weight of the matter - what is the issue that you are praying about? Eg. Panadol doesn't work on cancer.

You are praying for something that is life-threatening. Or you are praying for revival. But your prayers are simple.

The child was dead. How are you expecting to put a stick on a child and he will come back to life?

This kind of stuff could not work. It doesn't work to address weighty issues.

In Luke 14:28-30, Jesus made it very clear. If you are going to build a tower, you have to sit down and calculate the costs that you are paying because many people are going to die to build the tower.

What is it going to cost?

Revival is coming to Malaysia.

AMEN!

REVIVAL, COME TO MALAYSIA!

You can have the prophesy but you may not see the prophesy come to pass. Every prophesy must come with a level of sacrifice.

In 2 Kings 3, only part of the prophesy came to pass. Israel lost the battle.

Ask yourself, "What is it going to cost us? What is the price that we are going to pay?"

In this case, the power was not enough. The stick did nothing to the child.

2) Elisha closed himself alone. This stands for concentration to pray.

Learn to get into the presence of God, and concentrate on the issue and pray.

Elisha closed himself in the room in order to concentrate on the issue at hand and just focus on God.

Matthew 6:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

3) Elisha slept on the child. Submerge yourself in the issue in much prayer.

Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water - rivers of revival, healing, deliverance, prophesy, etc.

Activate that river in your belly and release it.

As you pray, rivers are flowing out in your spirit.

There is no such thing as too much prayers.

You have to pray much prayers.

There is quantity and quality required in prayers.

4) The flesh of the child began to warm. The child never came back to life. You cannot see warmth but you can feel warmth.

How do you know that God is about to answer your prayer?

You spirit begins to sense something. There is an excitement.

God will never revive people who are not excited.

Before God delivers, He raises up the level of expectation and faith.

Are you expecting God to revive Malaysia?

The scripture says the expectations of the righteous man shall not be cut off. (Proverbs 23:18)

Get excited because of the Holy Spirit, and not because of the speaker.

Are you on fire? I AM ON FIRE!

Your spirit becomes excited. There is a sense of hope.

God is going to visit Malaysia. There is so much excitement. People are excited about prayer.

Why now? Why not 20 years ago? God is raising up the hope and excitement in the people of Malaysia.

5) There are many indicators. People get excited. People have hope and expectations. People are having dreams and visions.

Elisha walked around. He was generating power. All the power that he had had gone into the child but he did not come to life.

Pray in the spirit to generate power.

6) What kind of prayers that make our prayers to be answered quickly?

Isaiah 66:8 New King James Version (NKJV)

8 Who has heard such a thing?
Who has seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day?
Or shall a nation be born at once?
For as soon as Zion was in labor,
She gave birth to her children.

Travailing prayer is desperate prayer.

You need quality time to cry out before God.

Cup of iniquity:

Genesis 15:16 New King James Version (NKJV)
16 But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.”

Cup of abomination:

Revelation 17:4 New King James Version (NKJV)
4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.

This cup must be full of prayer.

Revelation 5:8 New King James Version (NKJV)
Worthy Is the Lamb
8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Prayer is accumulated.

Fill the water to the brim.

John 2:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. 7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it.

Fill your prayer to the brim.

How long will it take to fill your cup?

You can say you've had enough and begin to cry out to God.

There is a desperation and a cry. "LORD, we are tired."

This cup will be filled very quickly.

FILL YOUR CUP!

Then Jesus will turn it into wine.

Stand Firm to be a Witnesses for God

Dr John Mulinde
05-11-2017

Acts 1:8New King James Version (NKJV)
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

These words were spoken by Jesus Christ after His resurrection.

The concept of witnesses is much bigger than sharing the gospel as mentioned in the New Testament.

In the beginning, God made one Kingdom. Man'd rebellion created a new order--a denial of position taken by God. Satan would like to challenge God--to prove that God is not God.

Isaiah 14:12-14New King James Version (NKJV)

The Fall of Lucifer

12 “How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer,[a] son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
13 For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’

This is the stand that Lucifer took. He would like to raise his own throne above the throne of God.

In Ezekiel 28:11-17, the angels started a rebellion and God immediately pronounced judgment upon Lucifer.

Lucifer did not acknowlege that he was wrong. He never expressed his repentence and he was never forgiven.

He needs to bring proof that his stand is right.

God has a case to prove. Satan has a case to proof.

From the very beginning, God has always required witnesses and their evidence or testimony(ies).

The heavenly court is gathering evidence and testimonies.

Acts 1:8 means that God wants you to proof to the world that there is no other God besides Him.

Isaiah 43:1-12New King James Version (NKJV)

The Redeemer of Israel

43 But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
3 For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I gave Egypt for your ransom,
Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
4 Since you were precious in My sight,
You have been honored,
And I have loved you;
Therefore I will give men for you,
And people for your life.
5 Fear not, for I am with you;
I will bring your descendants from the east,
And gather you from the west;
6 I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’
Bring My sons from afar,
And My daughters from the ends of the earth—
7 Everyone who is called by My name,
Whom I have created for My glory;
I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”

8 Bring out the blind people who have eyes,
And the deaf who have ears.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together,
And let the people be assembled.
Who among them can declare this,
And show us former things?
Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified;
Or let them hear and say, “It is truth.”
10 “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord,
“And My servant whom I have chosen,
That you may know and believe Me,
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
Nor shall there be after Me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord,
And besides Me there is no savior.
12 I have declared and saved,
I have proclaimed,
And there was no foreign god among you;
Therefore you are My witnesses,”
Says the Lord, “that I am God.

Proof to the world that God lives, that He is dependable.

The devil is against God. He is challenging God.

Both kingdoms have got to fight for the allegiance of man.

Whenever any man goes against God, there is a reasoning in the mind which begins to justify God's words. The devil brings forth the argument and lie.

When we believe the lie, we are bringing evidence to the court of the universe that God is unreasonable, that God is not God.

When we bring evidence and testify that God is God, that He is dependable, that His way is right, the heaven rejoices and appraises that our God reigns.

Read the story of Job. God takes pride in people who stand for Him and His Word.

In one day, all his cattle, donkeys, sheep and camels died. His sons and daughters died. But he is still standing.

The bible says that it is God who gives, it is He who takes. Let the glory return to Him. In all of that, he did not son against God. That is being a witness.

Whatever trials come your way, remember that the Lord will not try you beyond what you can bear. Behind every trial, He provides a way out.

"I am for God. I will stand to witness that He is God."

Other examples include:
-Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the book of Daniel.

-Daniel in the dens of the lions.

That is being a witness--to live a life that proves to the world that our God lives and that He is dependable and that there is no other god like our God and that we can trust Him--that God is God.

He who begun a good work in us will accomplish everything. Do not let the world put you down. I am more than a conqueror through Him who love me.

Sometimes we do not know why things happen to us but as we look back, we see that He is protecting us and that He is there for us.

As witnesses, we will be tried and tested and cross examined by the forces of the world. But stand firm and say that He is worthy and speak the trth.

Peter, John, James and the apostles--Their lives proved that Jesus is the Messiah. They were men who provided the proof that God is God, that Jesus is the Messiah.

In all our circumstances, may we be true witnesses.

The word witness is a concept from way back in the Old Testament.

In the world, witnesses are normally found in the court of law. The judge passes judgment in court.

All judges need witnesses. The role of a witness is to bring evidence and proof and testimony of the side that is standing to witness for. The judge weighs the sides of witnesses and passes the judgement. The case is settled by penalising one side ot rewarding the other side.

The ruling can be challenged. Time is allowed for an appeal.

There is a spiritual court before whom we are called to stand and provide witness.

You and I have been called into the arena to be witnesses for the kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness.

The records go into eternity. On the day of judgment, every record will be brought out.

Every day we are called to testify or affirm whether we stand with God or with satan.

If satan is able to argue his case, and we believe him and follow him, then we are not able to be a witness for God, to obey God, to be faithful to God, and to be with Him.

An example is in the book of Genesis when satan the accuser tempted man to move away from being submitted to God, to rebel against God, and to be like God.

Genesis 3New King James Version (NKJV)

The Temptation and Fall of Man

3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”

4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

What is the testimony of your own life?

Revelation 12:7-12New King James Version (NKJV)

Satan Thrown Out of Heaven

7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them[a] in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Do we affirm that His Word is the Word of life? Do we accept God's standards but do not apply them in our lives? The whole world is working to bring us into a position of compromise.

But God is still believing that there are still people who will make a stand for Him.

He is not only asking us to stand for Him, but He is also standing by us.

The contention between light and darkness is a battle of the ages.

God says, "I will fight for you. I will treasure you for who you are--My witnesses."

Example:
God promised a son to Abraham through Sarah. His Word is dependable.

Obey the Lord. Take God by His Word. Live by His Word.

God takes pride in those who choose to live by His Word.

Example: Job.

It is God who gives. It is God who takes away. All glory to God. And he did not sin against God.

God's standards are life-giving.

He who watches over Israel does not slumber. He is making sure that nothing will do you any harm.

God restored Job. He is able. If only we are certain that He is God. It is non-negotiable.

Satan was not contented. He said to God, "Let me touch him." God replied, "Do not touch his soul." Job was inflicted with sicknesses and infirmities. "Curse God and die," said satan to Job. In all of that, Job did not sin against God.

Matthew 24:14New King James Version (NKJV)
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

The God we serve is the God of the bible.
