Mark 5 New King James Version (NKJV)
A Demon-Possessed Man Healed
5 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the [a]Gadarenes. 2 And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3 who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind [b]him, not even with chains, 4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. 5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.
6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. 7 And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore[c] You by God that You do not torment me.”
8 For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” 9 Then He asked him, “What is your name?”
And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” 10 Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.
11 Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. 12 So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.” 13 And [d]at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.
14 So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened. 15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. 16 And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the swine. 17 Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.
18 And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. 19 However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” 20 And he departed and began to proclaim in [e]Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.
This man was living in the mountains and in the tombs. Night and day he was crying out and cutting himself with stones.
And he was demon-possessed. They were territorial spirits that were interested in the families in the area. They picked one person.
Jesus had to come all the way to deliver this one soul because his deliverance was the deliverance of the entire nation. His deliverance was the revival of the nation.
Jesus loves every soul.
The day you understand the mystery of the bondage is the day you will be saved. Understand the spiritual side to know why things happen in life.
There are people who are tormented by dreams.
The demon-possessed man was taken to the place of the dead and demons had free access to him because he was in their realm and territory.
This man had a family, a destiny, a ministry and a calling. But he was trapped. He cried day and night.
There's much more than getting him out of the mountain and taking him home. His issue was not home. His issue was where his soul was.
The freedom that Christ gives is the liberty of your soul.

FREEDOM FROM BONDAGES
Psalm 142:7 New King James Version (NKJV)
7 Bring my soul out of prison,
That I may praise Your name;
The righteous shall surround me,
For You shall deal bountifully with me.”
Do we experience prisons? Freedom means out of enslavement, restrictions and all kinds of limitations.
The multitude of spiritual prisons and the capturing of people's souls: The things that I want to do, I don't do. The things I don't want to do, I do.
Psalm 88:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 You have laid me in the lowest pit,
In darkness, in the depths.
Luke 4:18 New King James Version (NKJV)
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me [a]to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are [b]oppressed;
Prisons are where souls are trapped; there are prisons for family, cyber witchcraft, bloodline curses and iniquity. Jesus comes to open the prisons by the blood of Jesus.
Acts 8:9-24 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Sorcerer’s Profession of Faith
9 But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced [a]sorcery in the city and astonished the [b]people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, 10 to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” 11 And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his [c]sorceries for a long time. 12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. 13 Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done.
The Sorcerer’s Sin
14 Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, 15 who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. 16 For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
18 And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, 19 saying, “Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”
20 But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! 21 You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. 22 Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. 23 For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”
24 Then Simon answered and said, “Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me.”
The miracles were happening but none of the people were receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. People were just excited but there was no transformation.
Until Simon Peter came to deal with Simon. He came to pray for the people and then Simon was revealed. "You follow sorcery even though you are born-again." One person was limiting the revival. When he was delivered, there was release.
God sent Simon Peter to deal with the bondage that was in Simon the sorcerer.
Why do bad things happen to good people? What gave the devil right over your family? Where is God? Why is there bondage? Is it a bloodline iniquity or a territorial bondage?
In the name of Jesus, declare that liberty is coming. Break the bondage today. Remove it from your life. You cannot deal with it yourself. You need another man to help you to break the bond in the name of Jesus.
1) Deep-seated bitterness
Bitterness will kill you.
2) Rejection
Rejection gives the enemy the right to attack you.
3) Rebellion
Witchcraft is rebellion.
This is the day that God has made to start a new beginning in your life, your family and your children.
Declare in the spirit a new beginning.
Let every yoke be broken today in the name of Jesus.
Let there be liberty and freedom in your family, your children and your body.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 New King James Version (NKJV)
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body [a]and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and not a temple of oppression, depression.
I declare and decree liberty over my soul. Sicknesses, diseases and fears are over in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, I declare I am free from fear, from pride, from sickness, from shame. In the name of Jesus, depression, anxiety, fear be loose now in the name of Jesus. Let there be freedom in my home. Let there be freedom in my body. Let there be freedom to my children. I release them from depression, bipolar disorders, autism, ADHD in the name of Jesus. I declare liberty. The keys of the kingdom of God release their destinies right now. I release the destinies of my children and their souls and I remove traps in the name of Jesus. The heaven is open for freedom, liberty, peace and joy. Jesus gives liberty.
