The priestly calendar follows Passover. It ties up with spring.
Rosh Hashana is a civil calendar. It is very important because it will decide on shmita and jubilee. Every seventh year the land is allowed to rest. On the 49th year (at the end of seven cycles) all the debts are canceled.
Two major events:
1) Jerusalem is recognised as
Israel's capital.
2) The Jews successfully cloned the red heifer.
Next is the building of the temple.
The end is near.
Rosh Hashana is in September 2018; i.e. 999. Invert it and you get 666.
This is a make or break year. It is for you to decide if you want to realign with Christ.
This year is whether you have full potential or full or poison. Satan's food is man.
The key is the shofar. It is not the blowing that matters. It is the hearing.
Faith comes by hearing. The hearing of the sound that comes out to God is prayer. Prayer is necessary. We can do nothing without prayer.
God created the world with His Word. The Word is what will change. It is important to pray with the Word.
What is Rosh Hashana?
a) One of the 7 feasts of Israel.
The first of the last 3 Autumnal
Feasts (High Holy Days)
Rosh Hashana is:
The Prince of God who will come to
show us through the Holy Spirit something new.
This feast is an introduction to Yom Kippur.
The New Testament church have lost its shadow.
The Old Testament church are in the shadow until they get the New Testament.
This is a year of creation or change.
Antagonim means either you are in Christ or more in Christ. You cannot play church anymore.
b) The first day of the Jewish New Year (Civil)
Heralds the month of Tishrei
(Aramic: "to begin") - September/October.
Not the Priestly New Year that
begins at the 1st month of Nissan (Exodus 12:2) - March/April.
c) Known also as:
The Feast of Trumpets (Shofar)
mentioned in Leviticus 23:24.
The Day of Judgment.
The Day of Remembrance.
The Herald of the 10 Days of Awe
before Yom Kippur.
The beginning of the Year (Ezekiel
40:1)
The Jews have 2 New Years: Passover and Rosh Hashana. This is more important.
If you want to be righteous, you have to walk the narrow road.
What is the greeting?

Day 1:
Morning - shofar blowing 3x
The underlying themes of Rosh Hashana are:
1) Malhiyot - Kingship of God
2) Zhironot - Binding of Isaac Remembered God spared (Isaac and Isaac didn't resist)
3) Shofrot - Precept re: Shofar Blowing
Evening - Visit a pool of water with fish to "throw" their sins away.
The 10 days of Awe before Yom Kippur (Wednesday, September 19) are meant to be a time for introspection and reflection.
The great Deception is the devil came in and separated. Get out of this Deception and align yourselves with the Hebraic roots.
3 Themes of Roshana:
1) Malhiyot: The proclamation of the coronation of the King.
2) Zhironot: We are heirs and joint heirs. We have this Covenantal relationship that will last forever.
3) Shofara (sound of the shofar): The shofar is a cry from the heart.
"God, You are King.
We are in a Covenantal relationship
with You.
And we maintain that relationship
through prayer."
The 3 Main Themes Reveal the Deception of Our Age
Israel remaining in the shadow of Christ in the Old Testament.
The Church in the New Testament divorced from its Jewish roots (the Body of Christ without its shadow).
The New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed.
How to get out of Deception?
a) Acknowledge the need for Christ as mediator to restore the Kingship of God in all our lives
Rosh Hoshana is not about forms and rituals. Jesus is our Shalom (Prince of Peace).

c) Pray and Intercede like never before.

Seventh Seal: Prelude to the Seven
Trumpets
8 When He opened the seventh seal,

given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints

Conclusion:
The 3 themes of Rosh Hashana are
related to the Deception of Our Age
We need to restore our relationship with God in through righteousness through Yeshua Ha Mashiach - by the blood of the Lamb. Then only is He truly King over our lives.
We must remember the Old Testament is the New concealed and the New Testament is the Old revealed... in Christ.
The Jews and Gentiles must collaborate.
We need to pray and intercede for Israel and friends of Israel. Until they accept Christ, they are not going to heaven.

This is our finest hour and our last call. Align our hearts to where it all began - the Israel of God, and the God of Israel.
The New Year is a new beginning in Christ. In Christ and Christ only shall the world know its salvation.
