Prayer School – Pastor Julius Suubi Day 3: How to Trigger a New Wave

Day 3: How to Trigger a New Wave

“Behold, the former things have come to pass,

And new things I declare;

Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

Isaiah 42:9 NKJV

“Behold, I will do a new thing,

Now it shall spring forth;

Shall you not know it?

I will even make a road in the wilderness

And rivers in the desert.”

Isaiah 43:19 NKJV

“The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.’”

Deuteronomy 1:6 NKJV

One of the most frustrating things is to be in stagnation, where there is absolutely nothing new taking place in your life, especially in your spiritual life. That is not God’s agenda. He lifts us from glory to glory.

For us to unlock stagnation, we need to unlock the things of the spiritual realm that will drive the natural realm.

If we are going to impact the world, there are four things we need to master:

1. The mastery of the realm of the spirit

2. The mastery of the realm of the flesh — you will never achieve spiritual breakthrough if your flesh rules you (lack of discipline)

3. The mastery over the devil — we should not allow the devil to outsmart us. We cannot be ignorant. A child of God is supposed to be balanced and able to operate in the third heavens while understanding what is happening in the second heavens (the plans and agendas of the evil one)

4. The mastery over nature — how we apply the laws of the Spirit in the natural realm. We need wisdom to amplify spiritual laws into the natural.

Holy Spirit, give me new wisdom on how to apply the laws of the Holy Spirit here on earth.

What happens when you don’t trigger a new thing:

1. Stagnation will become the order of the day

2. We will begin to lose ground — the forces of darkness will advance

3. The promises of God will not become reality. They remain in the spiritual realm and will not manifest naturally. It is not in the talking but in the doing if we want to see the manifestation of God in our lives.

Characteristics of a new thing:

1. God is the One who does the new thing. Not you, not us. We need to partner with God to see a new thing, a new wave of revival. Seek Him for the new thing.

2. A new thing is truly new. Nothing from the past. “I will do a new thing” — it is something you have not yet achieved in life. Your eyes have not seen it before. Holy Spirit, release a new anointing, a fresh anointing over my life. In your prayer, enter a dimension you have never entered before. The Lord is doing something new. God wants to trigger something new in FGA, and it begins with me.

3. It will spring forth — it will be sudden and appear quickly. Don’t get tired of seeking the Lord. Keep seeking and praying, then suddenly something new will break out. What would have taken 10 years, the Holy Spirit can accelerate in a moment.

4. The new thing will be obvious to everyone around you. It will be publicly known. A move of God will break out soon in Malaysia. Our prayers are not in vain. Are you ready for a new thing? The new thing will create a wave for the next dimension. God will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

How do we trigger the new thing?

1. You need the Rhema word. Logos gives us the general will of God, but Rhema gives us the specific mind of God for a particular situation.

“Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, ‘Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.’ So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan.”

I Kings 17:2–5 NKJV

Rhema is specific — for example, the Brook Cherith.

Lord, give me a Rhema word for this season. What do You want me to do?

When you go to sleep, your spirit does not sleep. It interacts in the realm of the spirit. Revelational knowledge requires Rhema.

Declare:

“Bind the strongman in my life in Jesus’ name! Strongman, lose the people, lose the resources, lose the land! Bind the strongmen of diabetes, high blood pressure, and divorce in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

2. A season of seeking God deeply — cycles of fasting, extending your prayer time, and being rooted in God’s Word. Longer fasts catapult you into new spiritual territories. To maintain spiritual territories, you have to practise cycles of fasting — one or two days a week done consistently.

3. Successful spiritual warfare — let’s believe God that between June and December we will see something new: a new fire, a new anointing, and a new dimension of revelation.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for something new that You are doing in Malaysia, in my church, and in my life. Tonight, we trigger something new — a new fire and a new dimension of revelation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Day 2 – How Do We Trigger New Things / Miracles?

The depth of your prayer — how deep is your prayer?

“Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me.”

Psalms 42:7 NKJV

“Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business on great waters, they see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep.”

Psalms 107:23–24 NKJV

The principle of dealing with deep demonic structures is that we need to go deep in the realm of the Spirit. We must go deep into the dimension of travailing in the Spirit. God sits at the circle of the earth. The spiritual realm runs in cycles.

When you read the Word of God, observe the choice of words and tone.

A sea is a massive body of water. A ship is used to travel long distances. This speaks about tenacity — the ability to be a long-distance traveler in the realm of the Spirit. We do not go deep in a day. It is a journey.

Lord, give me tenacity! Take me into the deep waters of Your Spirit.

Great waters, not shallow waters. When we do not go deep, the supernatural power of God will start to fizzle out. When was your last powerful testimony?

They will see wonders. It is beyond a miracle. This is where God wants to bring us — into a dimension of wonder. We will see wonders that will shake nations.

Lord, I’m ready. Use me!

“Before she was in labor, she gave birth; before her pain came, she delivered a male child. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children.”

Isaiah 66:7–8 NKJV

We must enter into the realm of travail. As soon as Zion travails, acceleration comes.

“Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.’”

John 2:4 NKJV

“His mother said to the servants, ‘Whatever He says to you, do it.’”

John 2:5 NKJV

Two things can change timings: where there is faith, and where there is a need. This will trigger miracles to happen in our lives.

The law of continuity.

“These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.”

Acts 1:14 NKJV

Prayer must become a lifestyle, not something we do once in a while. In the spiritual realm, there are requirements that need to be fulfilled. God operates in fullness.

“Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, ‘Fill the waterpots with water.’ And they filled them up to the brim.”

John 2:6–7 NKJV

It is our responsibility to fill up the pots. Our prayers are like water filling the pots.

Once the jars are filled, Jesus will turn the water into wine. Activate your family altar.

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.”

Daniel 6:10 NKJV

Daniel prayed three times a day. Practice the law of continuity.

Holy Spirit, give me the fire of continuity! Give me the grace of continuity.

It is better to pray 30 minutes a day than 5 hours once a month.

Revelational knowledge.

“In weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness—”

II Corinthians 11:27 NKJV

Paul lived a fasting lifestyle. We need to do weekly spiritual transactions and go on long fasts periodically. Fast once or twice a week. Even the Pharisees fasted twice a week. Our righteousness must exceed theirs.

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,”

Ephesians 1:17 NKJV

We must pray with revelational knowledge.

Think: what is fighting your family? What is fighting your nation?

Father, in the name of Jesus, any enchantment against my family, my life, or my ministry, I break it in Jesus’ name.

You are a city on a hill. But some of us are barely visible in the realm of the Holy Spirit because veils of darkness have been cast upon our lives.

Holy Spirit, open my eyes. Open the eyes of the Church in the mighty name of Jesus. Give me revelational knowledge.

We need revelational knowledge and firepower. Abide in His Word.

Prayer School – Pastor Julius Suubi Day 1 – Determinants of an Impactful Prayer Life: The Mechanics of Prayer

Prayer School – Pastor Julius Suubi

Day 1.

 – Determinants of an Impactful Prayer Life: The Mechanics of Prayer

The way we pray will determine whether our prayers will be answered. “Call unto Me and I shall answer you.” When you have answered prayers, do not keep them to yourself — testify.

Prayer must originate with God.

“Then we will not turn back from You; revive us, and we will call upon Your name.”

Psalms 80:18 NKJV

The Holy Spirit must quicken us to pray. Prayer is a territory in the realm of the Spirit. We may slowly lose ground, so we need the person of the Holy Spirit to quicken us.

Holy Spirit, quicken me to call upon Your name, that I may not backslide in prayer.

Everyone is supposed to have a covenant time of prayer. How do you choose a covenant time? The Holy Spirit will lead you. If the Holy Spirit quickens you to pray at your covenant time and you miss it, you may miss a portal into a higher dimension. Pray without ceasing and be led by the Spirit.

Knowing what is in the heart of God — we must discern what is in the heart of God, and we will enter into open heavens and into God’s timing. There will be many activations.

Holy Spirit, open my spiritual eyes to see what You want me to see. God shares His secrets with us. We will see many answered prayers in Jesus’ name.

The fragrance of your prayer.

Every prayer has a fragrance because it is a sacrifice.

“And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, ‘I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.’”

Genesis 8:21 NKJV

Prayers ascend to heaven like an aroma or smoke. Your eyes will receive clarity to see in the realm of the Spirit. One of the great manifestations of the Holy Spirit is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. All the prayer movements happening around the world are filling the “jars” of a global revival. We are in a season of divine preparation. This will be greater than what happened on the Day of Pentecost. Do not walk in fear, and do not fear the end times.

Before the end times come, there is going to be a global harvest of souls. In the name of Jesus, we call souls to come into the Kingdom of God. We call Asia forth.

Do your prayers contain thanksgiving, praise, and worship? Or do they come from a place of fear and complaint? Praise and worship regardless of the situation.

When we mix our prayers with thanksgiving and stop complaining, God moves.

Lord, I thank You for my life. Thank You for every situation that I am going through. Make our prayers rich with fragrance.

The magnitude of the prayer versus the magnitude of the problem.

Different problems require different dimensions of firepower. The enemy wants to fight over our miracle.

“Now Gehazi went on ahead of them, and laid the staff on the face of the child; but there was neither voice nor hearing. Therefore he went back to meet him, and told him, saying, ‘The child has not awakened.’”

II Kings 4:31 NKJV

The rod had power, but it did not have enough power for that particular problem. The magnitude of power did not match the magnitude of the problem. Sometimes unanswered prayers are due to a lack of firepower.

Holy Spirit, increase my firepower!

For a headache, you need Panadol. For cancer, you cannot just take Panadol.

The spiritual realm operates in different atmospheres. The realm of the Spirit has measures.

“Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, ‘Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.’”

Revelation 11:1 NKJV

How wide is your altar? The altar is supposed to expand every day.

Holy Spirit, expand my prayer capacity.

When it expands, you begin to see new things in your life. You become an atmosphere changer. Things will start to shift.

Practical application:

1 hour of prayer — many temptations you will overcome.

3 hours of prayer — when the Lord prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. Your level of revelation will increase, and your spiritual discernment will become sharper. We need to pray for at least three hours for impact to happen.

5 hours of prayer.

8 hours of prayer.

Lord, revive my spirit. Awaken my spirit again.
