As God restores
Israel, He brings them back to faith in Jesus as the original olive tree, God
releases grace to the church.
The purposes of God
is hand in hand: the restoration of Israel and the church. All for the purpose
of receiving the Messiah back to earth.
Romans 11:25 New
King James Version (NKJV)
25 For I do not
desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should
be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel
until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
Between 1967 and
1975, the charismatic Jesus revolution in America scooped up tens of thousands
of Jewish people for Jesus across America.
Young Jewish
people started proclaiming "Yeshua is alive!"
Malachi 4:5-6 New
King James Version (NKJV)
5 Behold, I
will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the
coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
6 And he will
turn
The hearts of
the fathers to the children,
And the hearts
of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and
strike the earth with a curse.”
The church is the
second born son. We are the younger brother of Israel. We have to reconcile
ourselves back to the Jews. We have to reconnect back to our root-Israel.
When Jesus came
to earth, He first came for the lost sheep of Israel.
Romans 1:16 New
King James Version (NKJV)
The Just Live
by Faith
16 For I am not
ashamed of the gospel of Christ,[a] for it is the power of God to salvation for
everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Our biblical root
is Jewish.
Reconnecting to
our Jewish root means we are no longer just connected to a book, but to the
land and people and to a God where it all happened in history.
By reconnecting to
our Jewish root, it:
1) Enables us to
better, deeper and more richly appreciate Scriptures in their original context
(the time it was written).
We put ourselves
to the stories in the bible.
2) Releases
biblical truth, setting us free reviving our passion for Jesus.
3) Births vision
and calling in us to more faithfully follow Jesus as a disciple.
God moves by
seasons. He moves by His own timetable, which is the Jewish feasts.
As Jews begin to
wake up to their covenant with their God, Gentiles are also waking up.
The church has
learned that praying for Israel means tapping into God's purposes for the
nations of the earth.
We need to wake
up to the realities of what God is doing on a global scale.
With soft
awakening, He woos His people.
In His kindness
and mercy, He restores people with kindness and passion.
Next comes the
"shaking to awaken."
Holiness is
central to His revelation of awakening.
With justice and
righteousness.
Amos 7:7-8 New
King James Version (NKJV)
Vision of the
Plumb Line
7 Thus He
showed me: Behold, the Lord stood on a wall made with a plumb line, with a
plumb line in His hand. 8 And the Lord said to me, “Amos, what do you see?”
And I said, “A
plumb line.”
Then the Lord
said:
“Behold, I am
setting a plumb line
In the midst of
My people Israel;
I will not pass
by them anymore.
Rude awakening is
unpleasant and drives people to their knees.
Repentance is another way of saving people lined up with the divine plumb line.
For the Jews,
this means bringing them back to their homeland.
God will give
them a heart of flesh, to replace the old, stony heart of blind disbelief.
Ezekiel 36:24-28
New King James Version (NKJV)
24 For I will
take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you
into your own land. 25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall
be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the
heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put
My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My
judgments and do them. 28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your
fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.
Global final
great awakening preclude to the climax of the ages.
The gospel came
out of Jerusalem and headed west. It has come around the world and is
destined to go back to Israel.
Matthew 24:14 New
King James Version (NKJV)
14 And this
gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the
nations, and then the end will come.
Acts 16:7-10 New
King James Version (NKJV)
7 After they
had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit[a] did not
permit them. 8 So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. 9 And a vision
appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him,
saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 Now after he had seen the
vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had
called us to preach the gospel to them.
Our response:
1) Respond to the
call of God.
2) To be an
"on fire" Christian - a modern day Nazarite.
Romans 11:26-29
New King James Version (NKJV)
26 And so all
Israel will be saved,[a] as it is written:
“The Deliverer
will come out of Zion,
And He will
turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is
My covenant with them,
When I take
away their sins.”[b]
28 Concerning
the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are
beloved for the sake of the fathers. 29 For the gifts and the calling of God
are irrevocable.
Isaiah 59:20 New
King James Version (NKJV)
20 “The
Redeemer will come to Zion,
And to those
who turn from transgression in Jacob,”
Says the Lord.
The Lord will
return when all Israel is saved.
