Do not despise the days of small beginnings.
God desires even more--to transform Malaysia.
This revival fire is not to be contained within. This revival fire has to be released.
Be built and sustained by His Word. We are just conduits of His love, grace, mercy, power and healing. We release the power and annointing to others.
If we are locked, we cannot channel it to others.
Acts 1:8
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes to you.
John 15:5
I am the vine, you are the branches. You abide in Me.
We are to be the conduits of His love to release the presence of God. People see the reality of God not just in words but in experience too.
Personal testimonies are impactful. Bring us back to focus on God. He is great and He is hope.
Psalm 77:2New International Version (NIV)
2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord;
at night I stretched out untiring hands,
and I would not be comforted.
Psalm 77:7-9
7 “Will the Lord reject forever?
Will he never show his favor again?
8 Has his unfailing love vanished forever?
Has his promise failed for all time?
9 Has God forgotten to be merciful?
Has he in anger withheld his compassion?”
Do you somehow feel disconnected? Are you going through a season of pain and despair?
God has a plan for you. Cry out to God for breakthrough.
Feel the grief and pain of our God for His people. It grieves Him to see us disconnected.
Cry out to God to hear us, to release our burdens. But do not remain there.
Asaph did not remain there.
Remember that in God all things are possible. Do not be overwhelmed by our problems.
Some of us may be in that place that we could have deep anger and frustration. We cannot see beyond the circumstance. It has shaken us and we cannot get back to the intimacy with Him.
We could be in a place that we refuse to drink from the water. There is no hunger and desire.
We are so caught up with the things of the world that we refuse to be comforted.
Allow God to turn us back to Him. Allow God to bring us back to what really matters.
Now is the time to cause us to hunger more and prepare ourselves as bride of Christ.
Asaph made a decision to remember God. (V11 onwards)
Psalm 77:11-12
11 I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
12 I will consider all your works
and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”
Meditate on His Word. Remember and be grateful for what He has done for you.
We can still hang on to God because He has done it.
Psalm 77:13-15
13 Your ways, God, are holy.
What god is as great as our God?
14 You are the God who performs miracles;
you display your power among the peoples.
15 With your mighty arm you redeemed your people,
the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.
God works mighty deeds. God is incomparably holy.
We could come to a place of unbelief, refusing to trust God. We need to repent.
Am I going to take ownership? Or is revival, sign and wonders and miracles just going to bypass me?
Build a foundation in God so that when the shaking comes, we do not falter. Trust that God is working something good for us. Make me a part of what You are doing. Surrender all your questions even though you may not understand what God is doing in this season. Be faithful in coming to seek God for a breakthrough. Hang on, persevere.
Testify about God's goodness. Testimonies glorify God. He deserves the highest praise.
Ten lepers cleansed by Jesus but only one came back, praising God in a loud voice. (Luke 17:11-19)
Revelation 6:9-11New International Version (NIV)
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.
Maintain our walk with God. Maintain our testimonies before Him.
Turn back to Him. He will freely pardon, He will freely forgive. He called you by name. He will never leave you, He will never forsake you.
