God is
spirit. Worship Him in spirit and in truth.
What is the
biblical Christianity and the foundations that were laid by our Jewish
forefathers?
The
Charismatic movement has run its course. It's mission accomplished.
I believe
God sparked the charismatic movement because He wanted the Holy Spirit to have
that place of honour in our place of worship.
Where is
Jesus now? Seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for us.
The Holy
Spirit will be your teacher.
The Holy
Spirit is with us now.
Holy Spirit
is faithfully portraying Jesus and the Father.
The
presence of the Holy Spirit is pretty much accepted by all people, whether they
speak in tongues or not.
A new
restoration is signalled by a restoration of Israel to bring its people back to
its land. It is a prophetic act. It is more significant than the charismatic
movement.
A nation
that was gone for two thousand years has been born in a day.
They came
back to the same place where they started. It happened in our time. And it
happened to the nation of Israel.
In the
bible, God said dozens of times that He would do just that.
Even the
unbelievers of the world called the land the Promised Land. But God said,
"When you disobey Me, I may scatter you from the land and you will be like
a cursed people. But I will never forget you. I will bring you back to the land
that I promised your forefathers."
Now He's
done it.
The
ramifications of this are huge.
If this is
the hand of God, what does it mean?
Sign of the
end times.
Jesus wept.
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. (Matthew 23:37-39)
What does
it mean for us as Christians? The restoration of the foundations of our
Christianity.
Seek first
the kingdom of God.
Church
growth in and of itself does not bring forth the kingdom of God.
Kingdom
leadership is service. The further down you go, the more of God you discover.
Service in
the kingdom is down.
That's why
people at the top of the pyramid, bad things happen.
"God,
show me where I can serve. God, show me the people who are lesser than I."
Matthew
5:1-10New King James Version (NKJV)
The
Beatitudes
5 And seeing
the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples
came to Him. 2 Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
3 “Blessed
are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed
are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed
are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed
are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
7 Blessed
are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed
are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
9 Blessed
are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
10 Blessed
are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The
poor and the disadvantaged are the key to the kingdom. They are the key to the
heart of the Father.
He who
gives to the poor lends to the Father.
The way up
is to learn to look down. That's where you find the wisdom, power and glory of
God.
The Parable
of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37).
Mother
Teresa - a white Albanian woman became a hero in India.
On our day
of judgment, God is not going to look at our church attendance. God will look
at the lives of the people whom we'd impacted--who you led?, who you served?
That impact ends up being our reward.
If we do
His work, then we get to sit with Him.
