Christians & Nation Building

12-10-2018 (Special Meeting*)
Daniel 11:32b New King James Version (NKJV)
32 but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits

Those who know their God shall do great exploits.

The fruit of it must be great exploits.

God is great, God is alive.

God is not interested in how we label the nation. God is interested in the substance and how you live out your life--be the salt and light in your workplace and your family.

John 15:13-16 New King James Version (NKJV)
13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

For you to stand out for Malaysia is for you to look out for opportunity to lay down your life for your neighbour.

In you laying down your life, people will know you are different.

Ask God to remove the tainted lens of prejudice based on the colour of their skin or faith.

When you read news, probe further. Read beyond headlines. Read the details. Read the whole thing.

Child marriages for non-Muslims are superseding Muslims. It is not about religion. Main factors include poverty, compulsory education (in Malaysia, it is between 6 and 12 years old), no sex education.

As a church, help the poor. Commit to a village.

Educate our young people. Like it or not, they are being exposed out there.

Go into intercession for Malaysia. The difficult days are ahead of us. Taking down Goliath is the easy one; possessing the land is the difficult one.

One out of two persons are suffering from depression. Children are committing suicide. Children form 30 percent of our population.

Every time the enemy will bring a movement to remove the children. It is in the days of Moses in the Old Testament and in the days of Jesus in the New Testament.

The number one contributor of child abuse is the parents.

God says look after the aliens in our land.

Intervene. You have to proactively pray. If a situation that requires you to introduce light to a dark place, intervene.

RELATED: Building a Nation that Honours God

The act of rebuilding Malaysia needs to be upon strong families. Put aside everything else and start pursuing this. This is God's heart for your family.

Do it. Start introducing light in a dark place. The victory is already ours.

God will choose the foolish things of this world to lead, unfortunately, for you.

Our identity is found in Christ alone.

Matthew 6:25-34 New International Version (NIV)
Do Not Worry
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Sometimes we can know God so well and still disobey God.

Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

If you want to be used by God, be flexible and be humble. Stay open and stay flexible for God to direct and shape your destiny.

With whatever you have, when you are asked to serve, just do it.

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]

When God asks you to do something, have those difficult conversations with God.

When you are walking with God and feel comfortable, never assume you're at the same place that God wants you to be. If you find yourself stagnant, ask God and watch how He will call you to step out of your boat. Stay in faith. Fix your eyes on Jesus.

Obedience unlocks destiny. Never believe what the enemy says. See with eyes of faith. Work and labour for it.

Dreams, prophecies, signs and wonder will follow you.

Make yourself available for God. Step up to intervene. Light must come to this nation.
